WhatsApp is soon planning to stop support for a many iOS bias, as the messaging app will no longer work with iPhones running iOS 10 and iOS 11 starting latterly this time.

Numerous druggies of the app reported that it was planning to stop support for iOS 10 and iOS 11 at the end of last time, but that did not be also.


According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is now advising iPhone druggies using iOS 10 or iOS 11 that they need to modernize their iPhones in order to continue using the app after October 24.

The platform generally stops supporting some performances of Android and iOS, to allow the company to offer certain functions that may not work across aged operating systems.


The sanctioned WhatsApp Help Center lists iOS 12 and latterly as supported and recommended operating systems.

A note posted within the center said Update the rearmost interpretation of iOS to continue using WhatsApp. The app stops supporting this interpretation of iOS after October 24, 2022. Please go to Settings> General and valve Software Update to elect the rearmost iOS interpretation.


iPhone phones affected by the WhatsApp decision

In case you want to know which bias are running iOS 10 and iOS 11 currently, it's iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c.

Rumors say that this operating system won't work on the original iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE.
